Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior RCM Executive to oversee and manage end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations for our outpatient physical therapy clinics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, payer compliance, and optimized revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in U.S. healthcare billing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, Build and Train team on various new process of US Insurance billing and automate reports & Resolve queries with Insurances.
- Conduct comprehensive insurance verification and eligibility checks prior to patient appointments to ensure accurate coverage details.
- Obtain, track, and manage prior authorizations while maintaining complete and compliant documentation.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance claims for physical therapy services across multiple payers.
- Accurately post payments using ERAs and EOBs, reconcile accounts, and resolve posting discrepancies.
- Analyze, manage, and resolve claim denials through timely re-submissions, appeals, and necessary adjustments.
- Perform proactive A/R follow-ups, manage Coordination of Benefits (COB), and address patient billing inquiries professionally.
- Generate regular billing, aging, and performance reports to support revenue analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to payer guidelines, clinic policies, and applicable compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with front desk, clinical, and internal teams to resolve billing, authorization, and documentation-related issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in payment posting, reporting, and claim resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with payers, patients, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Prior experience in U.S. healthcare RCM, preferably within physical therapy or outpatient settings, is highly desirable.
