Satyen is the Co-Founder and CEO for Polaristek. He is the driving force behind the company’s strategy and business development activities. A business leader with 22 years of experience in growth strategy and organizational transformation.
He leads Polaristek together with a partner orchestrating new and balanced ways of creating value for the clients and partners globally.
Among Satyen’s areas of expertise are business development and strategic projects, corporate governance and change adoption, capital allocation, investment growth, client relationship, customer satisfaction and digitally enabled business transformation.
Recently Satyen was leading North America Operations and Global Commercial Operations for Zimetrics. He has worked with HCL, Cognizant, HP and IBM previously. He started his career as a BI developer and then grew into the management roles.
Satyen has done his Masters in MIS from Syracuse University and undergrad in Production Engineering from University of Mumbai.
He lives in Los Angeles with his spouse Sejal and kids – Dev and Rayna.
Atul Joshi
Atul Joshi has been a digital imaging technology leader for over 20 years. Currently he is the CEO and the founder of SAAZ Micro Inc., which is headquartered in the Los Angeles area. SAAZ, through its leadership and innovation in advanced digital imaging technology, is bringing novel solutions to the consumer, the industrial and the aerospace market segments.
Atul started imaging research during his undergraduate studies by conducting R&D on image compression ICs, for which he received the university silver medal at the Delhi Institute of Technology. He continued research in imaging circuits during his graduate and post-graduate research at UC Berkeley. At Berkeley, Atul designed particle detector ICs used at CERN for the discovery of the Higgs Boson, which led to
Nobel Prize in Physics. For this research Atul was given Berkeley National Lab’s outstanding achievement award. After the academic life, Atul moved to the industry. He joined Rockwell International’s imaging group (now Teledyne Imaging) where he developed
advanced commercial imaging chips for cell phones and digital cameras, which led to two spinoff companies. The first spinoff, Pictos Inc., later acquired by ESS Technologies, was one of the first in the industry to pioneer development of cameras for cell phones. The second spinoff, now part of the JVC Kenwood group, pioneered the development of first broadcast quality high-definition CMOS image sensors. After the spinoffs, Atul’s research at Rockwell concentrated on developing some of the worlds most advanced imaging sensors and cameras used in aerospace for which he has been recognized as a global thought leader. His work is published in over 50 international publications, he has over 50 inventions, and he has 6 active US patents. Atul has received various awards including the prestigious R&D100 award and the Wall Street Journal’s award for most innovative semiconductor product of the year.
Atul also has MBA from the Marshall School of Business, USC. There he was first in class and was nominated 21st century Einstein. In his management career, Atul has held various executive positions at the company level, at group level and at the board level. His strategic positions, such as being on M&A committee, provided him with unique insights in assessing technology businesses, acquiring, and integrating the businesses into the corporation’s platform. Atul is on the board of various companies, he has been an invited speaker at several international events, and he is routinely consulted by several prominent international organizations.
Siddharth Jetly
Technology Leader
Siddharth is an entrepreneur and a highly accomplished technology leader. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, travel and tourism, logistics, finance, manufacturing, e-commerce and other industries, he has guided companies in technology strategy and in delivering turnkey IT projects.
His passion is to help clients in realizing their vision by conceptualizing ideas, assembling high performance teams and being accountable in the end-to-end delivery lifecycle. He has significant experience in interacting with C level company executives and taking ownership of all matters related to technology.
Ram has over 25 years of consulting experience working with healthcare-related firms. He is a Partner with ZS Associates, a top consulting firm helping clients bring ideas to life, from discovery to commercialization, backed by the strategy, analytics and technology to help them succeed.
Ram joined ZS in 1998, then worked with Sanofi SA from 2003 – 2006 as Senior Director of Incentive Compensation and Field Performance Metrics before returning to ZS as a Partner. From 2010 –2013, Ram served as Office Managing Principal of ZS’s largest office in Pune, India, and oversaw its dramatic growth from 300 to 1000+ employees. Ram currently serves as the Lead for ZS’s West Coast Sales Excellence domain.
Ram’s areas of expertise include go to market strategy and structural reorganization, performance improvement and tracking, incentive compensation and management of cost-effective outsourced engagements using a mix of local and offshore resources. Ram has advised pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology clients of all sizes, leveraging analytics to counsel them on a broad range of strategic sales and marketing issues. Clients appreciate his deep domain knowledge and ability to combine strategic thinking with practical assessment of implementation challenges, including the human factor.
EDUCATION
Ram holds a Ph.D. in immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine, and an M.B.A. with Honors in Finance, Marketing and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
